The digital revolution has reached the music industry. There are still ongoing discussions regarding the effects on the market, but it seems clear that MP3 will be the file format of the future.

When looking at the huge amount of vinyl records each of us collected throughout the years, it is hard to get used to the idea of just using a digital file instead of spinning one of those beautiful black plates.

But now the importance of MP3s is rising- so i started looking at the positive effects for musicians, producers and distributors. I believe that there are a lot more positive than the negative effects.

Now it is possible to make music available over the internet in MP3, Wave or other digital formats. Expenses like producing records, sleeves and transportation no longer apply. I see this as a chance to distribute interesting and of course good music without the need of considering if the style or the popularity of the producer pays off the investments.

First of all, it is the music that is in my focus, not the format- music which has a certain kind of deepness, music which touches your soul and music which adds a good groove to your life. That is what i want to share with other people.
